Set the days and hours you're available
Where weekly availability lives, and why an empty calendar is almost always this.
Your booking page builds its calendar from two things: which weekdays you've marked as available, and the start and end times on those days. If a client opens your booking page and every date is greyed out, this is nearly always the reason.
Setting your hours
- 1
Go to Settings → Services
Weekly hours live on the Services tab, not the Services page in the sidebar. Scroll past your service list to the section headed "Weekly Availability".
- 2
Switch on the days you shoot
Each of the seven days has its own toggle. Days that are off never appear as bookable, no matter what times are set on them.
- 3
Set a start and end time for each day
These are the outer bounds of when a session can start and finish. You don't need every day to match.
- 4
Click "Save availability"
The change applies to your public booking page immediately.
How time slots are worked out
You don't choose individual slots. Sign&Shoot generates them from the day's window and the length of the service being booked — so a two-hour service on a 9am–5pm day offers fewer start times than a 30-minute one. Any slot that would overlap a booking you already have is removed before the client ever sees it.
That means two clients can't book the same slot from your public page. If two people happen to be on the page at once and both pick the same time, the second one is told the slot was just taken and is sent back to pick another.
Clients can only book about two months ahead. If you want a date further out than that, create it yourself with Quick Book.
Blocking out a single day
Weekly hours are a repeating pattern — there is no one-off "block this date" control. To keep a specific day free, either turn that weekday off for the period in question, or create a booking on it yourself so the slots stop being offered.
For seasonal work, there's a better tool: when you create or edit a service you can tick "Limited availability" and give it an available-from and available-until date. Outside that window the service disappears from your public page entirely.
Common questions
My booking page shows no available times on any date. What's wrong?
Check three things in order: at least one day is toggled on in Weekly Availability; you have at least one service marked Active; and the service's duration fits inside the day's hours. A four-hour service on a 9am–11am day produces no valid start times.
Can I have different hours for different services?
Not directly — weekly hours apply to your whole account. What you can do is give a service a limited availability window, which controls the dates it's offered on rather than the times.
Does this sync with Google Calendar?
No. There's no calendar sync or ICS export at the moment. Bookings live in Sign&Shoot's own calendar.
