Book a client yourself with Quick Book

For the enquiry that came in by DM, phone, or at somebody's wedding.

Most enquiries don't arrive through a booking page. Quick Book is for those — you fill in what you agreed, and the client gets the same contract and payment link they'd have got if they'd booked themselves.

The four steps

  1. 1

    Client

Either add a new one with name, email and phone, or search your existing clients and pick them. Only name and email are required.

  2. 2

    Service

Pick from your active services. Inactive ones aren't listed — if nothing shows up, you either have no services or they're all switched off.

  3. 3

    Date & time

Pick a date, then a start time. The end time fills itself in from the service's duration, and you can override it. There's a notes field for anything you agreed verbally.

  4. 4

    Review & send

Check the summary, optionally attach one of your contract templates, optionally apply a discount code, then press "Send Booking".

Quick Book ignores your weekly availability on purpose. It's for bookings you've already agreed, including ones outside your normal hours — so a Sunday evening shoot goes in without you having to change your schedule.

If the contract doesn't send

Occasionally the booking is created but the contract email fails. When that happens you'll see an amber warning saying exactly that, rather than a silent failure. Open the booking from your Clients page and resend the contract from there — the booking itself is fine.

Common questions

Does the client get an email?

Yes. They receive their booking details and a link to their portal, where they sign and pay.

Can I book a date that's already got a session on it?

Yes. Quick Book doesn't enforce the overlap rules that the public page does, on the assumption you know your own diary.

Do Quick Book bookings count towards my plan limit?

Yes — every booking counts, however it was created.
